POPS Cereal Box
This redesign of the POPS Cereal Box was a project I completed in my Package Design course. I designed a layout and new graphics for each panel on the box. I used a different typeface for the word “POPS” and made it three-dimensional to play off of the word, literally. I created a character for this cereal brand to appeal to children and distinguish itself from competitor cereal characters. I utilized three-dimensional design on all panels of the box as well, such as the x’s and o’s for the tic tac toe game on the back. Since my target audience consists of mostly children, I chose a color palette that consists of the three primary colors. These colors catch the initial attention of a child and are familiar to them.
