Bellini’s Menu
I created a menu design for an Italian restaurant in my Typography course in college. I chose an Italian name for my restaurant and took a modern approach to the menu design. I designed graphics such as a wine glass, a loaf of bread, a salad bowl, and a plate of spaghetti with clean, fine lines. I placed triangles of various scales around my graphics to ground them. I also changed the apostrophe in ‘Bellini’s” to a triangle to coordinate with the rest of the menu design. I selected simple typefaces for clear readability as well as a color palette that was fitting to the Italian theme but also felt contemporary.
